IGI Launches New Seminar Series
With the new year comes a new seminar series! The IGI is launching an eclectic series with a diverse range of speakers relevant to all five research program areas (Biomedicine, Technology, Microbiology, Agriculture, and Society). This new series aims to expose researchers to projects outside of their fields and to continually build an interdisciplinary and collaborative environment at the IGI.
All talks will be held in the Energy Biosciences Building room 115. For researchers at UC Davis and UCSF, live streams of the talks will be available in designated conference rooms. Speakers will present from 12 pm – 1 pm with a free lunch served in the EBB lobby following the talk. Attendees are invited to stay for the lunch, socialize with colleagues, and meet the speaker.
The inaugural speaker for the IGI seminar series will be Alta Charo from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. For more information on her talk please visit the Event Page.
