Our Pledge to Share COVID-19 IP

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is an unprecedented challenge to public health worldwide. Speed, transparency, and collaboration are crucial to supporting biomedical research that will end this pandemic as quickly as possible, saving human lives and livelihoods. The IGI supports widespread access to technologies developed in response to this crisis to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of this disease.

Together with our partners at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, the IGI and the University of California have developed a non-exclusive, no-fee, royalty-free license to make our new technology available to any entity working on this disease around the world.
