Alta Charo Seminar: Policy Choices for Non-Human Editing
NOTE: Unfortunately, Alta Charo had to cancel her talk but IGI investigators Jodi Halpern and Ken Taymor were able to lead an exciting ethics discussion in her place. We hope to be able to reschedule with Professor Charo and offer this seminar some time in the future!
The IGI is starting a new seminar series with a diverse range of speakers covering a variety of topics related to the Institute’s research programs. The first speaker, Alta Charo, will discuss policy surrounding genome editing of non-human organisms, a topic aligned with the IGI’s Society program area. Following all seminars, attendees are invited to stay for a free lunch and talk with the seminar speaker.
