An Annual Conference for the Innovative Genomics Institute Community
September 28, 2023, marks the inaugural Inside IGI event. This all-day, in-person conference is designed to bring together the IGI community to highlight the latest ways IGI researchers are using genome engineering to solve humanity’s greatest problems and encourage cross-fertilization and collaboration.
Inside IGI conference theme will alternate between Health and Climate & Agriculture each year. This year’s theme will be Inside IGI Health. This free event is open to all IGI leadership, Principal Investigators, post-docs, grad students, affiliated teams, and staff. Note: this event is not open to the general public or the media.

No. We will have a photographer on site to capture moments from the event, but we will not be recording the talks. This event will be in-person only.
Yes! One of the great things about the IGI is how our work cuts across different specialties. We love when people collaborate in surprising ways. Also: next year's meeting will be focused on Climate & Sustainable Agriculture,
