IGI Executive Director Jennifer Doudna and UCSF Co-Director Jonathan Weissman will be featured presenters at the 2017 Precision Medicine World Conference (PMWC, formerly known as the Personalized Medicine World Conference) which will showcase practical and current content in the field of precision medicine in order to catalyze cross-functional collaboration among recognized leaders, top global researchers, medical professionals, bio-pharma executives, regulators and other innovators across the healthcare and biotechnology sectors.
Dr. Doudna will also receive the PMWC Luminary Award for spearheading the development of the groundbreaking CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing technology. The PMWC Luminary Award recognizes recent contributions of preeminent figures who have accelerated personalized medicine into the clinical marketplace.
