We are a team of social scientists and biologists at the University of California, Davis. We are exploring what different stakeholder groups (including farmers, scientists, the general public, and policy makers) think and know about genome editing applications in agriculture. If you are interested in contributing to our study, please fill out the form below and we will contact you by summer 2018.

The goal of this project is to capture the range of knowledge, beliefs and attitudes that people have about genome editing in agriculture. We want to explore how people come to their decisions, as this will inform efforts for meaningful dialogue in the future. Our intention is not to persuade anyone to support the use of this technology.
This project is funded by a philanthropic gift to the Innovative Genomics Institute, a partnership between the University of California, Berkeley and the University of California, San Francisco. There are no corporate contributions to this research. Furthermore, no individual(s) will profit from the results of this research.
In order to be as transparent as possible, we have listed the research interests of, and possible conflicts of interest that may exist for, each person involved in the project. Click here to view them.
